Located in Otisfield, Maine which is Oxford County in Western Maine, the Moonlit Ridge Estate has to be one of the most beautiful wedding and event venues in Maine! Owned and built by Sylar & Bryan Welch, the venue is well thought-out, vast, and incredibly beautiful. I stopped by for a visit on a freezing and snow-covered January day, however, I was very impressed by what I saw! There are multiple buildings on the property designed to house guests, allow for prep space for the big day for the spouses to be, a kitchen area that is perfect for caterers, and several covered and non-covered locations for couples to exchange their vows in front of their guests. In addition to weddings, the venue is able to accommodate anniversary parties, vow renewals, and more! Bryan gave me a tour of their property and he was incredibly kind and friendly. He has also contributed a lot of his own building skills into creating this special property and he mentioned that Skylar has designed a lot of the spaces here. Also, it is important to note that Moonlit Ridge has the latest in HVAC systems so no need to worry about the weather at your event! I think it quite obvious if you step foot on this property that a lot of love and thought has gone into even the smallest of details. This is one of many outdoor areas, just outside of the main house. The main house has room for 14 people and is a perfect spot to stay for a wedding at this incredible venue.
