A meaningful surprise proposal at Land's End on Bailey Island near Harpswell, Maine.

If you've read any of my previous blog posts, then you probably know how much I love capturing candid and surprise moments - especially proposals of the surprise variety! So when this groom-to-be reached out to me about proposing to his Maine-born girlfriend (now fiance!) I knew it was important to make sure the location was idyllic. Since I am local to Midcoast Maine, I was able to offer up a multitude of location possibilities. The ocean is just a short drive from where I am based in Brunswick so there is no shortage of beautiful locations for photos. He mentioned that the Harpswell area was very near and dear to her heart so I instantly thought of a few spots we could utilize and we settled on Land's End, located at the end of Bailey Island. We were able to work out a scenario so that she would be surprised and the results were nothing short of special. Her parents were also there to witness this significant moment in their daughter's life and I was thankfully able to get some candid and posed shots of them as well.
